How does this compare with other Fractional Ownership providers?
We are offering a share in your own dedicated aircraft and crew. The aircraft is made available for the exclusive use of its owners and is operated and managed by a regular flight crew who get to know your travel routines and needs. Other operates will entice you with a lower cost and ‘guarantee’ of any of their fleet being available when you need it – this is not the same as your own aircraft. These programmes have lengthy contracts that are much harder to get out of and leave you paying substantial needs even if your travel requirements change.
Our proposal is a single aircraft, two crew and three shareholder users. The capital and fixed costs are split between the shareholders, with each user paying for the direct operating costs they fly. The aircraft is setup with an SPV owned by each of the shareholders, and the fixed costs are paid from a client account with your funds. If your needs substantially change and you need to move on, your share and ownership can be advertised and sold to a new shareholder.
We believe three shareholders is the ideal number to guarantee good availability. While adding a fourth would reduce the share of the capital and fixed costs – it’s only an 8% difference in costs but as much as 30% or more difference in usage and availability. With three shareholders you will almost certainly find the aircraft is available when you need it – and even on busy days its possible to fit in multiple trips through the day to meet everyone’s needs.
Yes there will be maintenance and other times the aircraft is unavailable, which is no different to other operators. The difference here is it can be planned specifically around your needs to minimise disruption.
